The problem you have w the tax plan is that equity is taxed at vesting and not exercise. My point is many people in tech esp women and people of color get shafted by equity deals AND by lack of healthcare. Perhaps they’re voting for Bernie because it is the rational best choice.
you are living in a fantasy. no early stage employees want their equity taxed at vest, including POC who, yes, are intelligent enough to participate in this ecosystem (and do) without you TAXING them. PS it’s extremely frustrating when woke white ppl minimize the work of POC.

Hi Jessica! Curious in what way(s) POC have been shafted on equity? My compensation package has been fair (if extravagant) and on par with my non-POC co-workers. The Sanders tax plan would hurt me as I continue to save and invest the money I am earning.
you’re right about no one wanting to be taxed at vest. But what I’m saying is most people in tech don’t get those deals and those that do could be completely shafted by equity worth nothing. My equity was -cancelled- after buy in bc the company sold in an aquihire.
