There are some articles so objectively bad they merit a public response. This one absolutely fails to meet that standard. There are multiple valid ways to view the facts so far, which the article reported correctly. And colorful isn’t clickbait.

It’s extremely disconcerting how often I get into a disagreement with a journalist on Twitter about their headlines. Journalists are well aware the headline is the first/only thing people read on social. It’s truth value is at least as important as the article’s.
