I don't know about that one. I think someone who really loved their work would rather do it than fight with fools about it.
if the fools have no power over your work, i think that makes sense. but when they run for elected office on a platform of dismantling your industry, i think you have to fight.

Ok, yes, in that case you might have to fight. Although in some cases you could go do it in another country, which would be even more of a black eye for them. E.g. Picasso painting Guernica in France and refusing to let it hang in Spain while Franco ruled.
