I have taught the kids of the people that might resent you. If you’ve ever spent any time in any national education system you would see at close range why they feel so disconnected from economic opportunity. You have succeeded. I appreciate and learn from your example.

School breaks the human engine and robs the world of the inclusive harmony so critical to the full realisation of human potential. Outliers are celebrated. In their stories, common threads, many of which started in school. They should be celebrated. They also shouldn’t exist.

@bhorowitz describes culture as the things we do. School culture is trash. The things they do are the wrong things. This starts as kid before they have individuated and have the capacity to filter influence. Their parents reenforce these suboptimal values. Tensions in the system.
