In the UK the mentally ill are over represented by a factor of three in jails - http://www.prisonreformtrust.org.uk/WhatWeDo/Projectsresearch/Mentalhealth … - while ADHD & dyslexia are also rampant. Not an expert on US, but with the rates of incarceration and lack of healthcare can’t imagine its better.

FYI I believe thar mental health in prisons is an issue AND the existence of property rights.
