Bitcoin is surging mostly because it has hit a new milestone in hash rate (overall computing power of the BTC network), it was going up before the news broke
right, but there was a sudden tick up on news of the US strike, and a huge spike up today on news of the bombing. could just be a coincidence?

Bitcoin’s price is not impacted by hash rate. The safe haven narrative is a better explainer, but no one can ever tell in this industry.
