One of the casualties of the last few years is the signal-to-noise ratio of policy analysis. An event like the Soleimani strike happens and pro-/anti-Trump people go to separate corners. Maybe that’s always happened but it seems like more people have pre-picked their side now.
i think it’s always happened, just now we have the written record of reversals and hypocrisy etc. so it all looks much more insane
