I'd say only folks who served get to say 'welcome back' to war so if you did Thank You! Those of us who didn't (myself included) should STFU about war.
i’m saying ‘welcome back’ to the anti-war position, which this tweet is plainly taking. but on the subject of ‘things i’m allowed to talk about,’ no, lack of military service does not preclude anyone in this country from having an opinion on foreign policy. welcome to freedom.

I misunderstood. It wasn't clear. Sure, we can have opinions but they don't mean anything without skin in the game. We have the freedom to have completely meaningless opinions - I agree with that.
