100%. The Obama presidency feels 20-30years away in terms of White House communication and media coverage.
20th century didn’t really end until trump, the complete absurdity of old world language and rules in the context of new world communication mediums not fully obvious until impeachment. in a sense, 2020s are the first real decade of the 21st century.

I’m starting to question the 20th century crusade for global democracy. Is democracy a good thing? Sure. Is American style democracy a human right/universal value? Maybe/maybe not Is spreading it via the sword the right foreign policy for the US? Almost certainly not.

Is American style democracy a human right? You remind me of billionaires who have billions but complain that it's a bad thing but would never give up their billions. May be talk to people who grew up under undemocratic societies before making such assertions.
