i actually don’t think this is statistically true anymore. cadence of impeachments (including nixon here) is rapidly accelerating. we will likely see 2 or 3 more in our lifetime. in fact if trump wins re-election i bet he’ll be impeached again.

yes of course the massive difference here is we are talking people, not coins, and none of this is random. among human beings impeachment has been normalized.
