They shouldn’t fucking have to. And until you or anyone else that wants to bitch about AB5 puts out cognizant policy proposals to curb this chaos, you can keep your criticism anonymous. Good God.

What is so wrong with what she is saying? Are we penalizing people for being passionate about what they do? Do you curse Mike? Do you disagree with people? Just because the speech, is on a public platform, does not mean that it is different if it were on a private platformpic.twitter.com/GfXFNdT61h

she is destroying tens — possibly hundreds — of thousands of jobs, apparently... by accident? and now she’s cursing at the people impacted by her catastrophic legislation on a public forum. she should immediately resign.

It is not by accident. The issue is taxation. No one knows how to classify those workers and the work they do. Remember, they can always scale this back after going hard, but almost impossible to do otherwise similar to people's desire to pay taxes https://www.wsj.com/articles/confusion-in-california-as-gig-worker-law-set-to-take-effect-11576590979 … 1/

"The cost for employers can be significant.. a California firm paying a contractor $150,000 for a year of services would end up paying around $161,000 after factoring in state and federal tax obligations. Benefits might add an additional 15% to 20%." -->THIS IS THE ISSUE.
