Worked out for me. Still remember a lesson from my professor in a course on Chaucer. “Read it like you know how it should sound, nobody knows what it sounded like anyway”...I spent my free time with my computers anyway. As long as you are learning how learn I think you’ll be ok.
presumably people learned how to learn before college? otherwise how did they get to college? i’ve never understood this justification for a life alteringly expensive four year hiatus from life.

Lol. I’m not asking you to pay for it or saying we all should. I’m also not saying you couldn’t learn everything I did with a public library card...although I wouldn’t have...it’s twitter my dude. All I’m saying is there is value in lots of different educational experiences.

I got a lot from the experience very little of it directly from a specific class. I also paid for it myself via scholarship so I really don’t have a dog in this fight. Not trying to argue any particular black and white point on this one.
