There’s a long line of brilliant people who believe(d) in God so you’re in good company. Despite culture’s best efforts to cancel God too.

And even if there weren't such a company, faith, as an individual, is substantiated. Brilliant people are wrong all the time & one shouldn't rely on their beliefs for one's own.
