i agree this sentiment could have pushed the prop over, but a victory by this margin is genuinely unbelievable

It’s not. After JUUL conceded, the Yes Campaign folded, and 75% margins are typical of campaigns with no opposition, especially if they don’t impose new taxes. Other ballot measures with no opposition had similar results

Juul themselves stopped supporting the measure months ago, because there was already so much ill will built up towards it. Throwing around accusations of voter fraud over this is pretty extreme and just makes people more likely to tune you out

seems like voter fraud

Occam's razor here is that the proposition was worded like actual absurd nonsense, and no one knew what they were voting on: Prop C said, "Vote yes to ban a ban on vaping, and this ban on the ban will stop kids from vaping (sponsored by Juul)"

I don’t want to be a conspiracy theorist, but I was able to vote without ever presenting any identity. Only afterwards did I realize that the only check was whether I could identify as a registered voter in the precinct.

Voter fraud—if it happens large scale—happens with absentee ballots, not at the booth The recent introduction of ballot-harvesting—combined with warehousing thousands of very pliable addicts in downtown SROs presents new and exciting opportunities for fraud

This "ranked voting" system & default absentee voting system they have here reeks of fraud to me Nothing I voted for passed (a D.A. to prosecute crimes, allowing vape sales, no tax on Uber, no more bond debt, etc) but I think this city can be routed by conservative mobilization

Ranked voting is not fraud...
