looking for a compelling 'full communist' open to polite discussion / disagreement to host a salon at hereticon. any recs?

As someone who grew up in Communism, got refugee status (then asylum), had uncles jailed by Communists etc. you need to look to China, Russia, Vietnam, etc. There are no 'full communists' in America (people confuse terms here all the time)
weird, i would imagine the only full communists *would* be in a country that hasn't yet instituted the system?

No, these are just silly people who make stuff up. Hardliner Communists are alive and well in China, parts of the former Soviet Russian government and in many parts of Asia, Latin America and Africa. I've been in the U.S. since 1983 and haven't met one 'real Communist' yet

There is not a single communist state left in the world except N Korea. Cuba has opened, China is capitalist w/ a single party rule, and Russia is an oligarchy. Myanmar, Vietnam & Venezuela etc are socialist. Technically communism has never really existed if we go by Marx’s book.
