We’ve already parsed ideas based on racial discrimination, sexism and homophobia and found them wanting. If you want to go over them again, then fine - you will get criticized for it.

People who are discriminated against and vulnerable in society will always care about “that shit”, however dull you find it.

You seem to want racist, homophobic and sexist ideas to be given more credence as part of this. I do not. It’s pretty simple to me.

Then perhaps changing the rhetoric for the event to one that isn’t designed to appeal to racist, homophobic and sexist people who decry PC culture would be the sensible move here in order that you can better communicate your actual intent.
