responding more to bernie's 'eat the rich' crusade, here, while thinking about how many thousands of times more helpful entrepreneurs have been with eradicating poverty than he has. but in terms of politicians, if hamilton is too old i'd be willing to cede FDR or reagan.
not even thinking about policy i agree with / disagree with here so much as impact. bernie is the platonic ideal of "old man yells at cloud." he moralizes incessantly and achieves nothing.
that's a tough sell. @dakami is right, he has substantially changed the terms of the debate for an entire party he doesn't even belong to. pretty big achievement!
