Population growth would be a result in increased emissions. Capitalism isn't at fault. The strongest and largest capitalist economy, America, is reducing emissions like Mike said. It's in the best interest of capitalistic ventures to be sustainable(reducing cost) & efficient

I'm not saying capitalism is entirely at fault. But there have been companies under capitalistic economies that have contributed to this climate crisis. I'm not trying to say the system itself is a problem but components of it are

I don't deny the role that countries like china have in contributing to this crisis, but bringing up how the us leads in emission reduction doesn't take into account the total amount of emissions they've contributed in the last 100+ years.
