i shouldn’t have to drop the mic. there should be a global network of displays and feeds that free us from portable hardware by now. and if we ever decide to learn something about the human mind we might even have a shot at interfacing with machines directly.

What would count as "directly" though. Neural interfaces? Those are great but only solve the hardware problem not the software one. Ironically. You will need better AI to connect human AI to AI . and we are still working on AI.
What are you financing that you consider transformative? Because I’ve seen wild tech — living machines to adapt to climate change; neurotech developing new senses, self-aware environments. Even with strong business metrics, investors don’t want into infrastructure businesses.
