Just heard an NPR promo for a segment on the 1619 Project that went something like "Some say it's important. Some say it's an insult." Reminded me that both-sides-ism isn't always about fake balance. Sometimes it's about creating the appearance of controversy for clicks/ratings
that having been said if half the country legit experienced weather differently than the other half... that, at least, feels like a story worth telling?

Perhaps. Maybe only because it'd be so crazy, at least if that happened among people in the same city. But even then, I'd rather wait a few months to make sure it's a real phenomenon. and also verify the disagreement is being made in good faith.
