geography has only been frozen for a few decades, and largely because of america’s military superpower. nations shrinking, expanding, reshaping is the rule, not the exception to it. fukuyama was wrong, history will carry on.

Come on Kim. I consider you a friend and you’re smarter (and nicer!) than this. You know Michael is not advocating for imperialism. Is it possible there are other options besides imperialism and endless invasions for democracy? That’s all.

I mean. I'm worried you're discounting the reality that de-stabilizing the postwar order of the last 70 years ... is probably violent and devastating in ways we can't anticipate right now.
