Let's be clear, when the only response Sen Warren and Sanders can muster to a legitimate question about their extreme policies is "that's a Republican talking point" then what they are really saying is "I can't defend my policies on the merits." That should scare democrats.

This is dumb. What they’re saying is you can reject Republican framing. You can talk about, eg., environmental regulations in terms of health impacts rather than costs to businesses
health impact is beside the point if you literally can't afford something. we're talking tens of trillions of dollars. the question of feasibility is not a tactic. we need answers to these questions.

jake asked sanders about the financial impact his policy would have on the middle class. that's a normal thing we need to talk about. and if it's a cake walk, as you're implying, it would have been a grand slam for the left - bernie should have just answered.
