no place i worked for free could afford to pay me, and all were respectful of my time and outside professional commitments (aka coffee shop... to “pay the bills”). i made the choice to intern, and the choice changed my life.
to the politicians in washington once again telling me what i can and can not do to my own body, with my own time, and infuriatingly *for my own good*... you would have kneecapped me and thousands more. stay out of our lives.
