I always thought you were an optimist. The world reverting to Hobbesian hoarding of non-productive assets that track inflation rather than deploying capital into innovation seems particularly pessimistic.
confused by your belief investment would cease to exist without a powerful, unelected cabal of economists quietly stealing money every year to fund never ending war and a cascading series of failed government programs. also... is that really the optimistic take, these days?
