that a quantum computer would be incapable of literally erasing physical gold is not controversial (though yes, any digital record would of course be vulnerable). and i'm very skeptical of 'quantum resistant' anything in a pre-quantum world.

You can be skeptical all you want, but quantum resistant encryption algos exist. Oh and your precious rock will definitely become worthless when we haul in an asteroid at some point which increases supply massively
