Now that the fda has the authority to review e-cigarrettes it seems like not such a stretch to say only approved ones should be sold? I get that it amounts to a ban for now and don't overlook that as the motivation but it seems those are the legal steps.

I'm assuming the reason the fda is stepping in is to make sure there's not false advertising saying they're, like, good for you or something, although the brands I've seen do seem to have their own warnings.
