Eh, gold actually backs things, like we'd act differently if we knew there wasn't actually any gold there, versus the way we act now, thinking there is gold there. Bitcoin doesn't influence much from its presence or absence, real or fake.
people aren’t buying groceries with bullion. it’s being held all over the world as a store of wealth. as people believe it has value, it has value.
