So it's Monday and the End Game spoiler ban is off. I still think Thanos is the good guy. He is operating at completely different philosophical and perhaps scientific assumptions to everyone else. The Avengers don't even bother challenging his assumptions.
1/ there is absolutely nothing thanos did that makes sense, nor is there any context in which mass murder is good. the malthusian premise has been persistently debunked for over a *century.*
now 2/ the bigger problem is thanos’ horrible logic. he a) wants to fix resource scarcity, and b) has a glove that grants wishes. he somehow decides killing half of all humanoids IN THE UNIVERSE makes more sense than... increasing resources?
