i think the complication is we have never lived so much of our lives inside a single business before. "you don't have to use it!" isn't satisfying in a world where, to succeed politically, you do actually have to use it.
re: social media bannings, i had no idea the left was so committed to the notion a corporation has the absolute right to self-regulate — very promising cultural shift!
