Is it insane? I think there's a proper debate to be had. The founding fathers claimed rights were inalienable. Just saying.
confused about what you're advocating here: granting rights to prisoners or abolishing prisons? if the former, i can assure you the founding fathers weren't arming prisoners. if the latter, that's an interesting, but very extreme position i simply don't agree with.

The former. I think it makes sense to at least have that debate. I agree second amendment inside prisons is bad. Also not arguing for the abolishment of prisons. Though we must face our incarceration epidemic.
