really insane. prisoners lose almost *all* of their rights including movement, property, arms, and even speech (try tweeting in prison with the cell phone you can’t have). perhaps the far left rejects the concept of prison in general? i don’t.

They really should be. Representative democracy works best when small conflicting groups balance out. Even 10x-ing terrorist votes, at worst since let's face it it's not a concentrated large electorate, gets an uncomfortable voice into the discourse. This is good - and liberal.
