hey, i'd connect with the people you admire in the field --- other folks on twitter (including or maybe especially lesser known folks), organizations (including non profits who are always looking for help), authors, bloggers (who i've found often respond to emails)
remember there's no ladder to your dream work because it doesn't exist yet, and everything starts with people connecting over stuff they care about
