I don't know much about student loans, by why are you advocating for abolishing federal student loans rather than private ones?
bc federal gov has almost no incentive to determine whether or not a student is capable of paying back a loan. they dispense debt for ideological purposes — the notion college education is fundamental.

since early 00s private banks have also lost this incentive (no fear of bankruptcy — guaranteed interest payments for ever). above proposals, in tandem, abolish all of this.
