libertarians literally invented the concept and have been rigorously discussing UBI for decades. right's knee jerk "no" is equivalent to left's knee jerk "tax the rich." agree left is discussing ideas, but the notion they are thoughtfully discussing them is ludicrous.

When I say right I mean the actual right that’s relevant to politics. I firmly believe libertarians would be more impactful if they stopped pretending they were on that team.
