I wonder if actually parables are the most effective way to teach lessons of morality. They are often short, and the plot twist shocks people into a new mental frame before they can put up their mental shield. Do you know if American authors wrote parables during the soviet era?

Try it yourself: can you even begin to make an argument against “one ought to follow reason” without invoking reason? I hold its impossible, its “self justified”. Now ruthlessly eradicate contradictions in your thinking, from that axiomatic principle, and you conclude liberty.
