The more bizarre notion is thinking the US will become like Norway by raising income taxes
often wonder: is the california tax burden not already comparable to norway or sweden? i have had a hard time making sense of what i've googled here.

Corporate tax lower in Sweden, income tax slightly lower in CA (top bracket), capital gains tax higher in CA (top bracket, 37.1% in CA vs 30% sweden)

If taxation was the obvious solution to problems, California should have become an utopia long time ago!
