The entire continent of Europe, all of Canada, dozens of other countries all successfully implement varying levels of socialism and are more free than the United States as a result. American exceptionalism is at its worst when it fails to recognize this.

the discussion is now epistemological in nature. words. definitions. anyone can google what i just said and see that i'm correct. if you'd like to argue for taxation, fine. but if you're arguing for socialism you're arguing for slavery.
