I am a capitalist. If you are a liberated person, you are living in a capitalist nation. If you are fighting for individual freedom in any corner of this globe you are also fighting for capitalism — because there cannot be freedom without capitalism.

The entire continent of Europe, all of Canada, dozens of other countries all successfully implement varying levels of socialism and are more free than the United States as a result. American exceptionalism is at its worst when it fails to recognize this.

Capitalism in the United States chains people to their jobs for healthcare, the lack of safety net stunts entrepreneurialism, and in a myriad other ways the American system limits our freedom.
