If only there was a non-profit org with a $30B endowment, which employs the brightest minds in science/business/aw, located in the heart of the life sciences ecosystem that could show how easy it is to develop and market new drugs...Maybe one with politically influential alums?

So the government sets up a system through the FDA and regulation that basically makes it impossible for drug companies care about patients over just getting a drug through approval and then they complain about it.
