[Aside from recent revelations/debates and validity of the test itself; staying within its own frame] Can a person be “high IQ” without being really good at math?

probably every person with a high IQ *should* be good at math, but math is a compounding thing imo. if you're demoralized early on, or miss the training, you track out.

I agree. Several anecdotal examples of people being “bad at math”/other subjects for whole life because of a terrible teacher earlier on. Also good family culture, school system is a huge plus.
