what’s best is folks like huffington telling us to sleep more. Man, I really want to ask her where she thinks she would be if she followed her own advice & whether she ll be worth listening to today if she slept more during those early years. It’s a trade off. Nothing normative.

So much of this is just a battle over subjective perception & semantics. Like, what does working “hard” even mean? Number if hours? Singular focus? Whatever it does, it’s a personal choice & sacrifice. Why this is even a debate is beyond me. No one tells athletes to practice less
