because anecdotal evidence is not statistical support for an argument. we have, by the numbers, a chronic, almost systemic homelessness problem. these programs have literally - demonstrably - failed, and the people who are fighting for them right now are actually hurting the poor

Pt.1-Mr McCoy, I can tell you,as an outsider, that the tax money isnt working or making things better. I just moved back to SF into SOMA and there are needles and excrement on my street. People are dazed due to either illness or drugs and grouping at the corner blocking traffic.

@rgarymccoy I can also tell you that the tax money and programs aren't working because Soap & Toothpaste are locked up being plexiglass at Safeway on Kings Street. If the hundreds of millions being wasted through nonprofits worked then homeless wouldn't steal soap. -
