bus just stopped at sf city college, which is free for residents, and a student got off with a book on intellectual decolonization. in other words, it suddenly occurred to me, i’m being forced to subsidize religious instruction.

Really love your evident and inspiring "wonder" on the podcast, especially the Mars series. It's inspired me. Then just jumped onto your Twitter feed and realize you live two lives. One full of wonder. The other full of snark and cynicism. Disappointing.

ah, honestly sorry to hear it. i just think we’re facing problems (epistemological, cultural, social) on earth that will keep us from moving forward if left unchallenged. i want people to know they’re allowed to dissent from the mob rn, and try to set that example.

Appreciate the response. I think I understand but I'm originally from Alabama and a quick glance at your twitter feed feels like the other mob. The person you saw reading was challenging. What you offer on the podcast is hopeful and full of wonder. Keep that voice for us.

We just ran a workshop on transforming emerging cities and I referenced your terraforming Mars podcast. Really value it, Mike.
