i understand this sounds tedious and weird, but i don’t think democracy survives the internet without significant change to cultural norms in this vein
Strongly agree here. Alongside trying to consider biases up front, it also seems important to approach ideas from angle that admits we may be wrong / leaves room for discussion and new perspectives. “I may be wrong about this, but...” or “here’s my perspective:...”
