Couldn't agree more with you Mike this kind of baffles me, capitalism has done more to reduce poverty than almost any other force on this planet, just because socialism has a hip new brand doesn't change the damage it has done to countless countries and peoples
i agree with this generally + find the hypocrisy of rich ppl posturing on twitter with these views for favs and RTs specifically revolting

Keep fighting the good fight! There are those of us still here on Twitter not yet trapped by the echo chamber bubble that appreciate this! it's important to speak truth and point out hypocrisy even when other people don't like it!

This is a super complicated non-binary discussion though. There is a huge gulf between Northern Europe for instance and the USSR. Market failures are many and each government intervention in a market failure has an element of socialism in it.
