become a billionaire or work for one, because their effort is the only thing moving the dial right now. nasa is totally impotent.

Do you foresee any change in that dynamic for the next decade or two?

the billionaires could give up, or the government could impede their work in some significant way. then we will not see mars in our lifetime (if ever).
