Books are an antiquated information technology, made for when transferring text was extremely expensive, so bundling was needed.
all i have is anecdote here, but despite all jeering from my def posse of tech optimists i learn from books — deeply, slowly, with pauses, backtracks, returns — in a way i just don't from anything that has a screen
