Throughout COVID, app-based workers risked exposure to keep us safe & fed. By illegally misclassifying workers, companies deprive them of basic protections: minimum wage, sick leave & overtime. Lies. There is no requirement that employees work 8 hour shifts. In fact, talk to any hourly employees and there are plenty of companies that try to game the system so they don't have to give mandatory rest breaks and meal breaks.
