Michelle, that’s too big of a leap. Overwhelming number of people in law enforcement across this country to it correctly with honesty and integrity. You’re basically saying no death penalty for a murdering terrorist because of ur feelings about Mueller and a few other bad apples.

I'm not just talking about Mueller.
-
What Michelle? God forbid you have a family member murdered. What r u going to do when you meet the prosecutor and detectives handling your family’s case, you going to tell them you don’t want them to seek the death penalty because you don’t trust them? Case by case, Michelle.

Yes, I've read
@JohnGrisham 's excellent book. Wish he would follow up on the continuing injustices in Oklahoma. -
Or Baltimore. Or the disgusting acts of former Douglas County (Neb.) Crime Scene Investigator, David Kofoed.

Michelle, after taking this same journey with you in regards to
#freedanielholtzclaw I have found myself seriously reconsidering my longstanding support of the death penalty. It has been a disturbingly painful eye-opener.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

IF SOMEONE KILLS AN OFFICER OF LAW ENFORCEMENT THEN THAT PERSON SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY GET THE DEATH
PENALTY

Prosecutors can get away with way too much. Case-in-point: the entire Mueller farce.

Christians cannot support it, anyway.
#ThouShaltNotKill -
Actually, the Bible says do not “murder”. Very different. By Mosaic law it would be totally acceptable for govm to put a criminal to death. However, that said, I agree completely with Michelle. I no longer support the death penalty. Our legal system is simply far too corrupt.
-
I guess it depends on your version.
-
Mark is correct. All other translations are irrelevant. One must take it back to the original Hebrew. That is the only language that matters, the language in which it was written. And in the original language it says, “Do Not Murder!”
-
WWJD. Did not Jesus say turn the other cheek, which seems to imply no killing.
-
Jesus instructions in the Gospels were personal commands, instructions on living a holy life. Not a guidebook for government. They apply to the individual not the state. If turn the other cheek applied collectively and not just individually we could not prosecute theft or murder.

You need to go back to your country and help straighten it out. Were your parents from here or was they illegals

It seems like rape and murder and other severe crimes should have the death penalty. If a person dies in Christ, they shall have a better state. A person without Christ is in a bad position
-
I thought a basic tenant of Christianity is to be pro-life. I think life in prison with no parole is a justifiable punishment
-
When there was a society of the people of God, certain crimes incurred the death penalty. It's a deterrent for one thing. Some people like jail

I disagree Michelle. While the death penalty is not something that should be used lightly there are cases where it is entirely appropriate. For example the 2007 home invasion of Doctor William Petit where two thugs raped and killed his wife and two daughters...
-
What do you have to say about the 200+ people released from prison death rows due to phony convictions? Are you even aware of this fact? Too many innocent people in our prisons. Go look at the National Registry of Exonerations for more proof. ShameOnU !!
-
So these two should be allowed to live because others were wrongly convicted? Each case should be dealt with individually. Don't try and group innocent victims with proven convicted killers.
