I would like to ask what new gun law would you like on the books that would guarantee that this won't happen Not a gun problem a society priblem.

Nice quote, but he was talking about muskets. This is the kind of B.S. argument that has helped put us in the situation we’re in. The right to bare arms does not extend to the right of citizens to bare weapons of war...like the AR 15 or hand grenades. They are for the military.
-
I’d trust the dog with a gun more than you with one.
-
Wow! Pretty harsh! And you don’t even know us!
-
Maybe. Maybe not.
-
I can appreciate your wit!

When they are ready to talk about the 1.5 million infants we allow to be murdered each year, I’ll be happy to talk about gun control.

This isn’t about gun control, this is about confiscation. The second amendment was never about hunting. It was about the people having the ability to fight back against a tyrannical govt. And Bo, acted like a dictator and got away with it. The next Bo will be worse

Why do we need DC to tell the states how to protect our schools?

Blaming the tool just gives the bad guy a pass. It wasn’t his fault, the gun made him do it! This won’t end until we can blame the bad guy and only the bad guy.
-
Serious question—not trying to be a jerk: why do members of the general public (non-military, police, etc.) need assault style weapons? When we see that these are the weapons of choice in mass murders, why not limit who can purchase them?
-
The other part of focusing on the weapons is we tend to ignore real problems, like the number of muders in black neighborhoods. Guns, knives, setting buildings on fire, they're just as dead, but there's no political gain so it never gerts addressed. That is sad.
-
I don’t think it’s feasible or even logical to take guns away, but I just don’t understand the need for high powered weapons (like those most commonly used in these mass killings) to be so readily available.
-
IF legal, an AR-15 isn't all that high powered. The LEGAL version is semi-automatic, which means you need to pull the trigger for each shot. It fires a small bullet (.22 about) very fast. A TRUE assault gun has a fully automatic mode. LEGAL AR-15s don't.
-
Do you think that rifles like AR-15 are necessary for the average gun consumer/general public?
-
I think the question is irrelevant to the situation. The REAL problem is how to stop this from happening again.
-
Seems like questions like that are always ignored or deemed irrelevant. Thanks for the civil discourse!
